Another Nationally-Ranked Team in Ohio Goes Down

Hold on to your hats Ohio high school football fans, it looks like 2008 is going to be a fun year!

For the second time this weekend, one of the state's nationally-ranked teams tasted defeat at the hands. First it was St. Xavier (#18 USA Today) losing to Colerain in a battle of Cincinnati-area #1 and #2, and then Saturday night, St. Ignatius (#16 USA Today) lost to Glenville 20-17 on a last second field goal by Marvel Brooks before 10,000 fans. The Tarblooders entered the season opener ranked #2 in the Cleveland Plain Dealer's high school football rankings, St. Ignatius was the pre-season #1.
