Elder (5-1) High fans are celebrating this weekend, thanks to the Panthers first win over St. Xavier in five years. Elder beat the Bombers 33-15 Friday night before a home crowd of over 10,000.

Elder entered the game ranked #2 in the Cincinnati area while St. X was #3. The loss was the second straight for the formerly nationally ranked Bombers, who played without quarterback Luke Massa, who has a broken collarbone.
