Ohio North-South Classic Announces Rosters

by Jeff Fisher
Ohio High School Football Huddle

The Ohio High School Football Coaches Association has decided it doesn't want to compete with the Big 33 game for talent, so organizers have moved the date from June to April 23rd this year. The last couple of years, the two games were played on the same day.

This year the game will be played in Ohio Stadium, the day before the annual Ohio State Scarlet & Gray spring game.

Here are the rosters for the 65th North-South Classic, which will be played for the 65th time this year and is the oldest all-star high school football game in America.

Ohio High School Football Scores - 1st Round Playoffs

by Jeff Fisher
High School Football America

The last time Middletown was in the Ohio state high school playoffs was nineteen years ago. In the first round in 1990, the Middies beat Moeller.

It was deja vu all over again Saturday night as Middletown opened the Division 1 post-season beating Moeller 45-10, which prior to last week's regular season loss to St. Xavier was ranked in USA Today's Super 25. According to the Cincinnati Enquirer, Middletown dominated this one from the opening whistle.
